What time does the 5K start? 9AM

Where is the start/finish line? Oak Middle School - 45 Oak St. Shrewsbury, MA

Can you run or walk? YES! This race is for runners, joggers, and walkers.

Will the 5K be timed? Yes, the event will be timed. Race Timing will be provided by Presidential Timing of Hanover, MA. Time results will be posted to the website.

Is there a separate start for walkers? No, there is no separate start area for walkers, but we ask that you line up according to your expected pace.

Are strollers welcome? YES! But please be mindful of other runners/walkers as the start line can get crowded

Are dogs welcome? Dogs are welcome if they are ON A LEASH and please be mindful of other runners/walkers as the start line can get crowded.

Where is the parking? Ample parking is located at Oak Middle School and Sherwood Middle School parking lots.

Is this a rain or shine event? This event will take place rain or shine. In extreme weather conditions, the race directors will work with the Town of Shrewsbury to ensure safety and make any necessary adjustments.

What is the cost of the 5K? $30 pre-registration and $35 day of registration

Am I guaranteed a t-shirt? T-shirts are guaranteed if you register by May 7th. Limited quantities may be available on the day of the race.

Where/when can I pick up my bib/t-shirt? Pick up will start at 8AM on Saturday June 7th, the morning of the race at Oak Middle School.

Who is putting on the Shrewsbury Pride 5K? Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services and First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury MA

Where are the proceeds from this event going? Event proceeds from the Shrewsbury Pride 5K will be shared by Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services, to facilitate programs to directly support LGBTQ+ youth and families, and First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, to support ongoing programs of outreach to the local and wider community.
